Shubham Jain

Shubham Jain has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra, where they gained experience working on projects for major US and Indian telecom companies. In this role, they were a full-stack developer using Java, JSP, Spring 3, JavaScript, jQuery, DataTables, and Bootstrap 3.

In 2015, Shubham joined Hughes Systique Corporation (HSC) as an Engineer. Here, they delivered critical features and extended the functionality of the core data collection engine based on Apache Storm. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Engineer at HSC, where they further enhanced the data collection engine by adding features to aggregate data from different streams.

In 2018, Shubham was promoted to the role of Principal Engineer at HSC. In this capacity, they implemented a new, decoupled design and successfully made the application live in production within a year. Shubham used Spring Boot and Spring Security for backend services and later migrated to Keycloak for authorization. Shubham also integrated OAS 3.0 for REST API documentation.

Currently, Shubham holds the position of Senior Principal Engineer/Engineering Manager at HSC. Shubham is responsible for managing a team of 9 individuals and is working on the design and development of the third generation of an application using Serverless cloud technologies in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Shubham has delivered over 30 releases in production and scaled the product to monitor 9 networks. Shubham also manages over 100 on-prem servers with high uptime and faced only one outage lasting an hour.

Shubham Jain attended the Global Institute of Technology in Jaipur from 2009 to 2013. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
