Gagan Thapar

Gagan Thapar has a work experience that includes roles in both Hughes and Aricent Group. Gagan started their career at Aricent Group in 2007 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until September 2013. Gagan then joined Hughes as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2013 to July 2017. After that, they were promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer at Hughes in August 2017, where they are currently employed.

Gagan Thapar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College in the years 2003-2007. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. In addition to their formal education, Gagan has completed various certifications in topics such as Dynamic Programming, Greedy Algorithms, Trees and Graphs, Algorithms for Searching, Sorting, and Indexing, and others through Coursera.
