Krishna Samavedam

Krishna Samavedam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in satellite communication technologies, currently serving as Sr. Technical Director & Scientist at Hughes since March 1999. At Hughes, Krishna has led the successful delivery of Satellite User Terminal (UT) software, overseeing team management, cost estimation, and feature implementation across product generations. Previous roles include architecting a unified software platform and achieving FIPS 140-2 certification for multiple satellite terminal variants. Earlier career highlights include software engineering positions at CALNET, Inc. and Motorola India, where Krishna developed cellular call processing simulators and load testing tools, respectively. Krishna holds an MS in Electronic Instrumentation from Andhra University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
