Ugur Simsek

Ugur Simsek has a diverse background in IT security, starting as an IT-Security Engineer at Bosch in 2017. Ugur later worked as a Senior IT-Security Architect at Mercedes-Benz AG before transitioning to a Development Engineer focusing on CarIT Security. Simsek also gained teaching experience as a Lecturer in Cyber Security at DHBW Stuttgart. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead in IT SecOps & Networks at HUGO BOSS, showcasing their growth and expertise in the field.

Ugur Simsek completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Technische Informatik from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University in 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Informationssysteme at Technische Hochschule Ulm from 2015 to 2017. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation from EXIN in 2018 and ICO ITSec Foundation from ICO International Certification Organization in 2019.
