Cara Diaconoff

Cara Diaconoff is a seasoned educator in the field of English and creative writing, currently serving as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Bellevue College since January 2017, while also teaching at Richard Hugo House since July 2010. Diaconoff has held various teaching positions, including Visiting Professor at Southern Methodist University and Visiting Assistant Professor at Whitman College, with a focus on creative nonfiction and fiction. Other notable roles include Online Adjunct Instructor at Salt Lake Community College, Managing Editor at The Gettysburg Review, and English Instructor during a Peace Corps assignment in Russia. Diaconoff's educational background includes an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Indiana University Bloomington and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
