Peter Mountford is a seasoned developmental editor and writing coach, actively working at Mountford Writing since January 2015 and contributing to the literary community as a faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno. With a robust background as a writer, Peter has authored novels, op-eds, articles, and essays while also ghostwriting for various clients since 2003. As an instructor at Hugo House, Peter has taught a wide range of writing workshops and has curated numerous literary events featuring prominent authors. Additionally, Peter has held significant roles, such as Writer-in-Residence for Seattle Arts & Lectures and the University of Washington, and served as an adjunct scholar at the Alexis de Tocqueville Institution. Peter holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and a BA in International Relations from Pitzer College.
