Theo Nestor is an accomplished instructor and author with extensive experience in writing education and event production. Since February 2014, Theo has taught various personal narrative writing classes at Hugo House, including courses on memoir writing. With a dual role as Course Instructor at Theo Nestor Productions, Theo supports writers in growing their readerships, leading to successful publications in prestigious outlets like the New York Times and The Washington Post. As an author, notable works include "Writing Is My Drink" published by Simon and Schuster and the memoir "How to Sleep Alone in a King-Size Bed" released by Random House. Theo also served as a Writing Instructor at the University of Washington from 2006 to 2021 and has produced events for writers, fostering community and inspiration. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and an MA in English Literature from San Francisco State University.
