Lanny Lo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2008, they began their career as a Senior Financial Advisor at Singcapital Pte Ltd. Lanny then transitioned to Sterling Knight Pte Ltd as a Senior Broking Executive for a brief period in 2009. Later in 2009, Lanny joined Maybank Kim Eng Pte Ltd as a Corporate/Institutional Dealer and Execution, where they stayed until 2017.

In 2017, Lanny joined CYS Global Remit Pte Ltd as a Senior Settlements and Operations Officer. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing various operational activities such as managing static data input, trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation, as well as handling treasury operations.

In 2018, Lanny worked as a Manager Client Retention at Xtrade Group for a short period. Following that, they joined Placewise Asia Pacific in 2019 as a Senior Customer Support Specialist.

Currently, Lanny holds the position of Head of Customer Support at Hugosave, where they started in May 2021.

Lanny Lo's education history shows that they earned a Bachelor's Degree from RMIT University from 2000 to 2003. During this time, they studied Software Systems, Hardware, Electronic Engineering, Software System Programming, and Business Studies. Prior to attending university, Lanny Lo completed high school at Geelong Grammar School in Australia from 1995 to 1999. In high school, their field of study included Mathematics, Physics, and Business Studies, in which they excelled with an A+ grade.

In addition to their formal education, Lanny Lo also obtained several certifications. Lanny became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in January 2022. In May 2021, they received certification in The Zendesk Agent Workspace from Zendesk. Furthermore, in April 2021, Lanny obtained certification in Data Analytics from the Vertical Institute. Finally, in January 2006, they earned the CFMAS certification, specifically Modules 1A, M5, M6, M6A, M9, HI, GI, and M8 from an institution referred to as "CFMAS."
