Simone Bartlett

Simone Bartlett is a seasoned professional with significant experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, and investment. As Co-Founder of Hugo since May 2018, Simone leads a Future-of-Work company that builds remote support and data operations teams for tech and global media organizations. Prior to Hugo, Simone served as Accelerator Director at Newark Venture Partners, focusing on early-stage investments in B2B technology firms. Experience also includes a role as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Jumia Nigeria, where Simone developed strategies to boost brand awareness for a leading e-commerce platform in Africa. As Co-Founder and CEO of Eve & Tribe, Simone innovated a tech-enabled distribution model empowering female entrepreneurs. Previous roles include a Pre-MBA Management Fellow at the Student Sponsorship Programme and an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Simone holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.B.A. in Finance & Risk Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
