Michael Dehlic

Michael Dehlic, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Michael began their career in the United States Air Force as a Navigation Systems Avionics Technician. After receiving an honorable discharge, they joined HBD Industries as an Industrial Engineer, responsible for equipment justification. Michael then moved to Universal Manufacturing Company, where they held various positions including Industrial Engineer, Human Resources Manager, and Plant Manager. In these roles, they managed employee relations, benefits, staffing, and implemented hiring practices and procedures. Michael also developed cost models, labor standards, and a health and safety program. Dehlic then joined Tyco Fire & Building Products as a Production Manager, overseeing a production line with 200 employees and $100 million in annual revenue. Michael later worked at Sealed Air Corporation as a Production Manager and Regional HR Manager, responsible for HR activities across multiple plants. Currently, they are serving as Head of HR Operations, Americas at Huhtamaki, managing HR functions at various plants in the Americas.

Michael Dehlic, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, they obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 2014. Michael has since renewed this certification in '18 and '21.
