Michael Nawaiki O'Connell

Michael Nawaiki O'Connell is a Founder of Hui Huliau and a member of the Hui Huliau Board of Directors. He has 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has led a variety of projects in Hawaii and Guam. His previous roles include serving in leadership positions such as Vice President, Operations Manager, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Safety Officer. He has longstanding relationships within the Federal contracting community and leads the Hawaii business development efforts.

Michael is Native Hawaiian and a lifelong resident of Waianae, Hawaii. He has supported many community service projects over the years and has a special interest in feeding the homeless and the disadvantaged.
