Thabani Nkosi

Thabani Nkosi has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation and finance. They are currently serving as the Head of Group Tax at Hulamin since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Tax Manager at Illovo Sugar Limited from March 2018 to October 2021. Thabani also held the position of Head of Tax at Bryte Insurance Company Limited from February 2017 to February 2018. Before that, they worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where they served as the Head of Tax from June 2015 to February 2017, a Tax Specialist from March 2012 to May 2015, and a Financial Accountant from December 2008 to March 2012. Thabani started their career as an Auditor at SizweNtsaluba VSP from January 2005 to November 2008.

Thabani Nkosi's education history begins with their enrollment at Eastwood Senior Secondary School from 1994 to 1998. Thabani then attended Durban University of Technology from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a National Diploma in Accounting. Thabani later went on to study at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2003 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Accounting degree and a Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA). Thabani furthered their education at the University of Johannesburg from 2010 to 2011, obtaining a Higher Diploma in Tax Law, focusing on Tax Law/Taxation.
