Matti Anttila

Matti Anttila is a seasoned professional in the fields of defence and space, currently serving as Director of Defence & Space and Business Development Director at Huld since February 2020, following the merger of Space Systems Finland and RD Velho. In addition to this role, Matti holds positions as Vice Chairman of the Board and Board Member at the Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries, contributing as Chairman of the Space working group. Active in the Finnish Space Committee since February 2021, Matti collaborates on national space matters. Matti's previous experience includes a long tenure at Space Systems Finland Ltd. as Business Area Manager and Business Development Manager, as well as early roles in technical project management and IT engineering. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Space Technology and Automation-Robotics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and a Master's in Technical Physics and Software Production from Tampere University of Technology.
