Erik Blomqvist

Erik Blomqvist has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Erik started their career working as a Teacher Substitute at Göteborgs Stad from April 2007 to November 2010. Following this, they worked as an Ad Producer at 100 procent Östersund for a year from December 2010 to December 2011. In 2012, they joined Emoderation Limited as a Content Manager until August 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Language Tutor at italki from April 2014 to October 2014. From October 2014 to October 2015, Erik worked as a Front-End Developer and Web Designer at Strop Digital Studio. Erik then joined Dragster Kommunikation as a Front End Developer from January 2016 to April 2018. From May 2018 to April 2020, they worked as a Frontend Developer at Our Studio. In 2016, Erik joined Huma as a Frontend Developer where they are currently employed. Alongside their professional roles, they have been active in the music industry working as a Keyboardist and Web Manager at Nyléns Musik & Event since August 2006. Additionally, Erik has experience working as a Freelance Web Developer since 2003, primarily using WordPress and designing websites with Photoshop and Sketch for various clients ranging from small businesses to large companies. Furthermore, they have worked as a Piano Teacher, tutoring students of all levels from beginners to advanced and providing comprehensive music education including sheet music, rhythm exercises, music theory, and ear training from February 2008 to October 2014. Erik's work experience showcases their expertise in web development, content management, teaching, and music industry roles.

Erik Blomqvist has a diverse education history. Erik started their academic journey at Hammarkullsskolan and Fässbergsgymnasiet from 2003 to 2006, where they focused on studying music. In 2011, they enrolled in Gotland University to pursue advanced web programming. Erik then attended Dalarna University from 2012 to 2014 and obtained an Associate's Degree in Mandarin Chinese. In 2014, they briefly attended the University of Gothenburg, specializing in Japanese during their high school studies. Erik also holds a certification in Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Elementary, which they obtained in January 2017.
