Pete Shaw

Pete Shaw is a seasoned software engineer with a robust background in product development and agile methodologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Humaans since March 2021, Pete has previously held positions as a Product Engineer at Qubit and Developer at MailOnline. Early career experience includes roles at Caplin Systems as a Software Engineer, where work focused on a foreign exchange trading web front-end, and as a Consultant during a year placement at Fidessa, supporting a major trading platform launch. Pete began academic pursuits at the University of Surrey, earning a BSc in Computer Science, culminating in a final year project that investigated Clojure for Big Data processing. Additional experience includes web development during a gap year at Essential Marketer Ltd and various early placements in IT and consulting.
