Jared Rice

Jared Rice is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and strategic sourcing. Currently serving as Associate Director of Procurement at Humacyte since April 2023, Jared has successfully led initiatives that include onboarding a 3PL partner, negotiating Master Supply Agreements, and streamlining raw material planning processes. Prior experience includes serving as Procurement Manager at Grifols, where Jared maintained 100% manufacturing uptime during supply chain challenges, and consistently achieved savings targets. Previously, Jared held sourcing and procurement roles at Cree, Deere-Hitachi, GEP Worldwide, and Mediant Communications, showcasing a strong ability to negotiate favorable agreements and improve operational efficiencies. Jared holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.
