Michael Menne

Michael Menne has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Michael is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of Formli since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO of Human Agency starting in April 2018.

From May 2017 to April 2018, Michael served as the Director of Training Programs at LaunchCode, where they designed and launched a new training bootcamp for niche technology roles. Michael also held the position of Director of Technology at LaunchCode from September 2014 to May 2017, leading the Engineering Team in building scalable systems and establishing Agile Scrum workflow.

Before joining LaunchCode, Michael worked as a DevOps Software Engineer at Tapestry Solutions from September 2012 to September 2014. In 2012, they also served as the President of the Kirksville Java Users Group.

Michael's previous experience includes working as a Java Developer at Monsanto from November 2010 to September 2012, where they focused on Agile development and large-scale data processing. Michael also worked as a Consultant at Daugherty Business Solutions from August 2010 to September 2012.

Additionally, Michael worked as an Independent Developer at Electronic Systems Support from January 2010 to August 2010, where they implemented various software projects. Prior to that, they served as a Software Specialist at NISC from May 2009 to August 2010.

Michael's early career includes working as a Java Programmer at Electronic Systems Support, Inc. from May 2007 to May 2009, where they developed Java-based kiosks for interactive marketing campaigns.

Michael Menne attended St. John Vianney High School from 2000 to 2004. Michael then went on to Truman State University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. During their time at Truman State University, Michael also pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems. In August 2013, they obtained certifications as a Java SE 7 Programmer I and an Oracle Certified Associate in Java SE 7 Programming from Oracle.
