Gustavo Córdova has a strong background in software engineering and has worked in various roles throughout their career. Gustavo started working at Inflection Point Systems in 2011, where they designed and built software solutions for multiple customers using a diverse range of technologies. Gustavo worked there until 2013. In 2015, they joined Doctors Hospital as a software engineer and contributed to the design, development, and testing of an updated version of the Hospital Information System. Later that year, they also started working at Wizeline as a software engineer and technical lead, where they helped transform how teams build technology and accelerate the delivery of innovative products. Most recently, Gustavo joined Human API in 2019 as a software engineering manager, where they lead a team working to pioneer a platform that enables the world to build the next generation of health applications.
Gustavo Córdova's education history is as follows:
From 2006 to 2011, they studied at Tecnológico de Monterrey and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering with a focus on Information Technology.
In 2010, they spent a semester as an exchange student at the University of Sydney, where they studied Engineering and IT.
In 2013, Gustavo pursued a Master's degree in Software and Information Technologies at Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed in 2015. During their time there, they gained expertise in Computer Science.
In 2014, they further expanded their knowledge by working as a Student Researcher at CITRIS, a research center at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Information Technology.
In 2017, Gustavo attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and earned a Stanford LEAD Certificate in Corporate Innovation in 2018.
Currently, they are attending the Universidad de Guadalajara and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health.
In addition to their formal education, Gustavo has obtained various certifications, including Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, and R Programming from Coursera. Gustavo also holds a SEI-Certified PSP Developer certification from the Software Engineering Institute, which they earned in 2013.
