Brett Maclean

Brett Maclean has over 17 years of work experience in the Information Technology field. Brett began their career in 2003 as a Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve. In 2004, they started as a Systems Administrator at Dealix Corp, where they provided technical support for 100+ onsite and remote users. In 2006, they moved to Merced Systems as a Systems Administrator, providing local and remote desktop support for 100 end users. In 2008, they became a Senior Systems Administrator at SAP SuccessFactors, managing enterprise wide backups, anti-virus, and Active Directory. In 2016, they were a vCIO (Virtual Chief Executive Officer) at Pacific Office Automation, providing planning, budgeting, and strategic direction to clients. In 2017, they were a vCIO / Technical Account Manager at Alternative Technologies, managing 20+ Bay Area companies. Since 2013, they have also been an IT Consultant at Advantage Resourcing, HP, Unilever, Artech, Abbott, Noviant, OfficeIQ, and Geeks Onsite. In 2020, they became Director of IT and Information Technology Manager at Human Bees.

Brett Maclean's education history includes an Associate of Applied Science in Networking Technology from Heald College between 1995 and 1996, and an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology from Heald College between 1994 and 1996.
