Edgar Gil - SHRM-CP has worked in the Human Resources field since 2005. In 2013, they began working as an HR Generalist for Bay Area Seafood INC. In 2014, they joined Service by Medallion as a Senior Human Resources Manager and then as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, they were responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate records, files and reports, leading and coaching the Human Resources Department, managing labor relations, managing full cycle leave of absences, managing data entry into HRIS and ATS systems, managing and administering full cycle terminations and hiring, managing and administering worker's compensation, providing compliance advice and implementing/updating policies to remain in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and responding to employee inquiries, investigations, interpreting and clarifying policies and procedures. In 2021, they began working as the Human Resources Director for Human Bees.
Edgar Gil obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo between 2001 and 2005. Edgar also attended San Jose City College from 2010 to 2013. In 2018, they received their SHRM-CP certification from SHRM Certification.
