Ranil Piyaratna has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2002 as a Process Development Associate at Depomed. Ranil then moved to Scios Inc./Johnson & Johnson as a Research Associate in 2005. In 2006, they took on the role of Senior Project Manager at Blue Lithium (Acquired by Yahoo). In 2008, they became the Director of Product Management at Mobclix, followed by a similar role at Velti in 2010. In 2012, they became Co-Founder and CFO of Human Bees, a market leader in staffing up needs for clients in the technical, light industrial, and manufacturing areas. Most recently, in 2021, they joined the Forbes Business Council as a Council Member.
Ranil Piyaratna holds a BS in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis and a Professional Masters of Biotechnology, which included an MBA and MS from San Jose State University.
