Jeff Higgins has a long and varied career in business and finance. Jeff began their career in 1991 as a Senior Financial Analyst at Baxter International Inc. In 1994, they became the VP of Finance/Controller & Project Director at Johnson & Johnson. From 2000 to 2001, they were the CFO at Klune Industries, followed by a role as VP of Compensation & Human Capital Analytics at IndyMac Bank from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they became VP of HR at The Irvine Company, and in 2007 they held Executive Vice President positions at both Countrywide Financial Corporation and Infohrm. In 2011, they joined the ISO International Organization for Standardization as a Member of the Human Capital Technical Advisory Group (TAG). In 2020, they became an Adjunct Professor - Data Science(DSO), Human Capital Analytics at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, and they are also the Founder and CEO of the Human Capital Management Institute.

Jeff Higgins attended Utah State University from 1981 to 1986, graduating with a BS in Accounting, Finance and Information Systems. Jeff then attended the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an MBA. Prior to that, they attended school in Soda Springs Idaho.
