Britny Kish is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Office of Communications at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) since July 2015. In this role, Britny Kish oversees the development and implementation of strategies for effective internal and external communications related to NHGRI's mission, and co-manages the History of Genomics Program. Prior to this position, Britny Kish gained valuable experience as a Management Intern at the National Institutes of Health from July 2013 to July 2015, and as a Program Technician within the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute from 2010 to 2013. Britny Kish began a professional career in administrative and marketing support at E.J. Krause & Associates from 2008 to 2010. Britny Kish holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
