Edward Park is the co-founder of Human in Motion Robotics Inc., a position they have held since June 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor at Simon Fraser University starting in September 2008. From July 2003 to August 2008, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria.
Edward Park obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Toronto between 1999 and 2003. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Toronto from 1996 to 1998. Edward's undergraduate education was completed at The University of British Columbia, where they achieved a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1992 to 1996.
