Brian Guyer is the Housing Department Director at HRDC. Brian has over ten years of experience working in affordable housing. Prior to their current position, they were the Home Ownership Program Manager at Mountainlands Community Housing Trust, where they implemented the Cornerstone Homeownership Innovation Program (CHIP). Brian has also worked as the Director of Donor and Community Engagement at United Way of Salt Lake. In this role, they were responsible for stewardship of a $12 million annual campaign, as well as management of the donor relations and volunteer departments.

Brian Guyer has a bachelor's degree in political science from Baldwin Wallace University and is certified as a real estate agent by the Utah Division of Real Estate and as a homeownership counseling by NeighborWorks America.

They are on a team with Dean Williamson - Economic Development Director, Margaret Mason - Associate Director & Senior Programs Department Director, and Sue Cook - Human Resources Director. Brian Guyer reports to Heather Grenier, CEO & President.
