Yasir Almuqbil

Yasir Almuqbil currently serves as the Cyber Security General Manager (CISO) at the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) in Saudi Arabia since August 2024. Previously, Yasir held positions including Head of Cyber Security & Information Audit at a Confidential Government entity, where policies and procedures for cybersecurity were established. As Information Security Manager at Bank AlJazira, Yasir developed processes for change management and led the cyber security operations team. At stc, Yasir progressed from Networks Security Engineer to Cybersecurity Implementation Manager, engaging with executives on cybersecurity strategies and auditing. Earlier experience includes working as a Power Transmission Engineer at the Saudi Electricity Company. Yasir holds an MBA from Saudi Electronic University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University.
