Christina Hernandez

Christina Hernandez is the current Director at Human Rights Campaign. Christina has been in this position since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director at Texas Community Supervision Alternatives, LLC (TCSA) from January 2015 to May 2021. Before that, Christina was the Director of Administration Operations at Austin Recovery from June 2011 to January 2015.

Christina has a wide range of experience in supervising support services, including food services, administrativion, facilities management, IT support, and procurement/vendor relations. Christina is skilled in project planning- maintenance, renovations, construction and expansion projects, streamlined business practices, vendor and procurement management, qualifications/proposal writing, document production, and software instruction/mentoring.

At Austin Recovery, Christina also worked with the finance department to assist with financial and business planning activities. This included overseeing business policies, processing and approving reimbursements, reviewing financial reports, supporting the organization budgeting process, cost monitoring and controls management, and bank and investment account administration. Christina also oversaw risk management and legal activities, including letters of agreement, contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements. In addition, they managed business insurance procurement, monitoring and management.

Christina was also responsible for information technology at Austin Recovery- working with the manager of information technology to ensure the ongoing maintenance and updating of information systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and ASP applications.
