Mike Mings is a seasoned political strategist with extensive experience in political action committees. Since June 1999, Mike has served as the Political Action Committee Director for the Human Rights Campaign, leading efforts in endorsements, fundraising, and federal campaign liaison activities. Responsibilities include interviewing Congressional candidates, lobbying Members of Congress, and promoting HRC’s initiatives nationally through public speaking engagements. Previously, Mike held the role of Political Action Committee Manager at the American Society of Association Executives, where engagement with government relations and fundraising was key. Early career experiences include positions at the National Taxpayers Union and an internship with U.S. Representative Jim Kolbe. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Arizona.
