Mike Wilkinson

Mike Wilkinson has over 18 years of experience in event management and fundraising within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Events at the Human Rights Campaign since March 2011, Mike oversees fundraising dinners across major US cities, leveraging partnerships with local committees, venues, and vendors. Previous roles include Associate Director of Events and Senior Events Manager at the same organization, as well as Division Special Events Manager at the National Kidney Foundation, where Mike focused on fundraising and event management. Early career experience includes positions as Associate Director of Special Events at Whitman-Walker Clinic, Campaign Coordinator at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and an internship at Richmond SPCA. Mike holds a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
