Reid Whyte

Reid Whyte, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They currently serve as the Associate Director of Human Resources at the Human Rights Campaign since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at MBA Consulting Group from November 2020 to January 2022, where they also had a previous role as an Operations/Compliance Associate from November 2019 to November 2020.

Before MBA Consulting Group, Reid worked as a Client Services Manager at Whitman-Walker Health from November 2017 to April 2019. They also have experience in the healthcare industry, having worked at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. They served as a Patient Services Coordinator from May 2016 to November 2017 and as a Patient Registration Associate from September 2014 to May 2016.

Reid's career began with an internship as a Fitness Specialist at Corporate Fitness Works in May 2014. Prior to that, they had worked as a Sexual Assault Prevention Student Employee at the Student Wellness & Outreach department of the University Health Center at James Madison University from August 2013 to May 2014.

Reid also held positions as an Administrative/Conference Coordinator at the Festival Conference Center at James Madison University from May 2013 to August 2013 and as a Substance Education Program Assistant at the Office of Judicial Affairs at James Madison University from May 2012 to May 2013.

Their early work experience includes roles as a Sales Associate at Aeropostale from May 2011 to June 2012 and as a Receptionist at Vector Marketing in 2011.

Reid Whyte, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Analytics & Management from American University. Reid attended American University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Reid obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health Sciences from James Madison University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their educational achievements, Reid has also obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2021.
