Human Rights Campaign
Tari Hanneman serves as the Director of the Health & Aging Program at the Human Rights Campaign since May 2014, overseeing initiatives such as the Annual Healthcare Equality Index and advocating for LGBTQ health concerns. Prior to this role, Tari was the Director at The Women's Fund of Winston-Salem from June 2007 to August 2013, managing organizational operations, grantmaking processes, and communications, while also conducting impactful research on women's economic security. Previous experience includes serving as Principal at Metis Consulting, Program Officer at The California Endowment, Field Representative for Congresswoman Jane Harman, and State Policy Advocate for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Tari holds an MPA in Nonprofit Organization Management and a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
