Ghadah Al-Brahim is a seasoned professional in the field of human rights, currently serving as the Deputy for Human Rights Protection at the Human Rights Commission since March 2023. Prior to this role, Ghadah held the position of General Manager of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia from February 2019 to March 2023. Ghadah's earlier experience includes leadership roles at the Saudi Human Rights Commission from 2008 to 2019, where responsibilities included serving as the International Relations Team Leader, Head of the Translation Unit, and Translator. Ghadah's educational background includes a Master of Laws (LLM) in Public Law from Arab East Colleges and a Bachelor's degree in Translation (English) from King Saud University. Ghadah completed secondary education at Najd National Schools.

أنشئت هيئة حقوق الإنسان بموجب "تنظيم هيئة حقوق الإنسان" الصادر بقرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (207) وتاريخ 8/ 8/ 1426هـ. وتهدف الهيئة إلى حماية حقوق الإنسان وتعزيزها وفقاً لمعايير حقوق الإنسان الدولية في جميع المجالات، ونشر الوعي بها والإسهام في ضمان تطبيق ذلك في ضوء أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية. والهيئة هي الجهة المختصة بإبداء الرأي والمشورة فيما يتعلق بمسائل حقوق الإنسان. وتتمتع الهيئة بالشخصية الاعتبارية، ولها الاستقلال التام في ممارسة مهامها التي أنشئت من أجلها والمنصوص عليها في تنظيمها. وقد عدل تنظيم الهيئة بموجب قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (237) وتاريخ 1437/6/5هـ The Human Rights Commission was established under the "Regulation of the Human Rights Commission" issued by Cabinet Resolution No. (207) dated 8/8/1426 AH. The Commission aims to protect and promote human rights in accordance with international human rights standards in all fields, raise awareness of them and contribute to ensuring the implementation of this in light of the provisions of Islamic Sharia. The Commission is the body competent to express opinion and advice on human rights issues.
