John Studzinski

Vice Chair Emeritus

John Studzinski is a distinguished leader in investment management, philanthropy, and social advocacy. Currently serving as Managing Director and Vice Chairman at PIMCO since 2018, John advises a diverse range of clients and is instrumental in the firm's global expansion. As the Founder and Chairman of the Genesis Foundation, established in 2001, John has contributed over £20 million to the arts and initiated programs supporting emerging artists. John founded Arise in 2015, an anti-slavery NGO, and co-founded The Passage in 1980, now the UK's largest center for the homeless. Additional roles include Trustee of the J. Paul Getty Trust and the American Associates of the Saint Catherine Foundation, Council Member at the Royal College of Art, and Chairman of the Benjamin Franklin Museum. Educationally, John holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA from Bowdoin College.
