Dimitris Theodorakis has an extensive work experience, starting in 2007 as a Software Engineer intern at Gameyola. Dimitris then co-founded and served as the CTO of mynextcar.gr, a successful used car search engine in Greece. In 2014, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. Dimitris joined Microsoft in 2015 as a Program Manager, where they worked on search engine performance optimization and launched engagement features for Bing. Dimitris then moved to Google in 2016, where they worked as a Product Manager leading the Ad Traffic Quality team responsible for protecting Google's ad revenue. Finally, they currently work at HUMAN as the VP of Research, leading a multidisciplinary team in the field of cybersecurity.
Dimitris Theodorakis completed their Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens from 2005 to 2011. In 2009, they also briefly studied Multiprocessing, OpenMP, and MPI at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Later on, from 2013 to 2015, Dimitris pursued their MSc in Management and Engineering at Stanford University.
