Human Services Research Institute
Since 1976, HSRI has worked to improve the systems that improve lives. With a mission to advance community and person-centered service systems, the Massachusetts-based national nonprofit leads rigorous research that shapes the delivery of human services and supports. Our team of more than 60 employees provides research, evaluation, program implementation, data and statistical services, and technical assistance. We understand the complexity of human services landscapes, including the interrelated physical, social, behavioral, and environmental factors that affect the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Our work with federal and state agencies seeks to address the needs of underrepresented and marginalized populations in the areas of behavioral health, child and family welfare, housing and homelessness, population health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and aging and physical disabilities.
