Quality Systems Manager at Human Technologies Corporation

Cheryl L. Pekola has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Cheryl L. started their career as an intern at the Utica Police Department in 1997. Cheryl L. then worked as an executive assistant at REMET Corporation from 1998 to 2000. Cheryl transitioned into the real estate industry and worked as an associate real estate broker at National M&D Dailey Realty from 2006 to 2008, followed by Coldwell Banker Prime Properties from 2008 to 2010. In 2009, they took on the role of a social welfare examiner at Oneida County Department of Social Services, where they worked until 2013. Cheryl then moved into the quality assurance field and became the Quality Assurance & Compliance Director at Remet Corporation from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Quality Systems Manager at Human Technologies since September 2016. In this role, Cheryl is responsible for developing and maintaining quality assurance and control systems for products and services, managing ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and implementing CIMS 3000:2018 Quality Management System for environmental services. Cheryl L. also oversees corrective actions, customer complaints, and internal audits.

Cheryl L. Pekola began their education at Rome Free Academy from 1987 to 1990, where they completed their high school education. From 1995 to 1997, they attended Mohawk Valley Community College, obtaining an A.A.S. degree in Criminal Justice. Following this, they attended State University of New York Empire State College from 2009 to 2011, earning a BS degree in Community and Human Services with a concentration in Criminal Justice. Finally, in 2011 to 2012, Cheryl pursued a Masters Degree (MS) in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University.
