Human Technopole
Francesco Dossena is currently a PhD student in bioinformatics at Human Technopole, focusing on functional genomics and post-transcriptional gene regulation within the Lorenzo Calviello research group. Prior to this role, Francesco served as a bioinformatics postgraduate intern at Human Technopole, where responsibilities included single-cell data analysis and bulk data analysis of samples from Helsmoortel-Van der Aa syndrome patients. Francesco's early experience includes a Bachelor internship at IEO Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, where work involved CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing and cell culture. Francesco holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics for Computational Genomics from Politecnico di Milano and Università degli Studi di Milano, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
