Amit Caspi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in research and development across various high-tech industries, particularly in medical robotics and healthcare. Currently serving as VP of R&D at Human Xtensions since January 2023, Amit leads innovative initiatives in handheld laparoscopic robotics, integrating AI and advanced motion control technologies. Previously, Amit held key roles at Maytronics as Chief Solutions and Technology Officer, overseeing the R&D division and managing significant budgets. At Philips, Amit progressed through several leadership positions in Oncology Informatics, contributing to the creation of cloud-based SaaS solutions and establishing agile practices within teams. Amit’s earlier experience includes significant roles at GE Healthcare and the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, where notable achievements include transforming organizational processes and driving technological advancements. Amit holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed in 2001.
