Chris Smith

Chris Smith, CPA, is the Director of Corporate Accounting in Finance Shared Services at Humana, where they oversee the monthly close cycle, IT accounting, fixed asset and lease accounting, and the Puerto Rico accounting teams. Chris previously served in various roles at Humana, including Associate Director of General Accounting and Consultant in Process Improvement & Optimization, where they managed teams and streamlined accounting processes. Prior to joining Humana, Chris worked at PPG Industries and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Louisville, along with an Accounting Certificate. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated a commitment to financial governance, process improvement, and team engagement.
