Kyle Thiermann

Kyle Thiermann is a seasoned copywriter and content creator with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and media. Currently serving as a Copywriter at HUMANAUT since April 2023, Kyle has also been a Freelance Writer for Santa Cruz Waves since January 2016 and hosts The Kyle Thiermann Show, a podcast initiated in 2016. An Ambassador for Patagonia since January 2008, Kyle previously held roles such as Head of Editorial and Senior Copywriter at MUD\WTR from January 2020 to December 2022. As co-creator of The Motherf*cker Awards from January 2018 to January 2019, Kyle aimed to honor efforts to protect the natural environment. Additional contributions include corresponding for Discovery Digital Networks from February 2015 to February 2018 and creating the online series Surfing For Change, which addressed significant ocean issues from January 2009 to January 2017. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Green Business with a focus in Media from Gaia University, completed between 2008 and 2011.
