Mai Nguyen is a seasoned professional in wildlife management and conservation, currently serving as the Wildlife Program Manager at Humane Society International since August 2017. Previously, Mai held the position of Senior Programme Officer at TRAFFIC in Vietnam from April 2011 to May 2016, focusing on combatting wildlife crime, promoting sustainable medicinal and aromatic plant practices, and overseeing timber trade initiatives. Earlier experience includes a role as Communication Officer for Habitat for Humanity International's Vietnam Program from September 2008 to March 2009. Mai holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from The University of Queensland, completed in 2010.
