Kimberley Washington

Kimberley Washington has extensive experience in animal care and customer service, currently serving as a Pet Adoption Counselor at the Humane Society of Missouri since January 2025. Previous roles include a seasonal position as a Stylist on the sales floor at Target and a Personal Shopper for Shipt, both during late 2024. Kimberley spent over two decades as a Zookeeper focused on birds at the Saint Louis Zoo, ensuring their welfare and enrichment. Additional experience includes leadership as a Lead Residential Technician at Catholic Comprehensive Services for Children, training new staff and managing schedules, as well as foundational roles in therapeutic recreation and nursing. Kimberley holds a B.S. in Animal Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a B.S. in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University.
