Dom Brady is the Managing Director at Humanetics. Prior to this, Dom served as the Business Development Manager at Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult from February 2018 to September 2020. In this role, Dom was responsible for building relationships and executing outcomes by understanding the needs of domains and applications, having a broad network of companies and organizations, and appreciating the potential of different technologies.
Before their time at Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult, Dom served as the Technology Development Manager and Lead Technology Developer at Schlumberger from May 2014 to May 2017 and January 2004 to April 2014, respectively. In these roles, Dom was responsible for developing and managing technology projects for Schlumberger.
Dom began their career as a Senior Engineer at Bookham in March 2000. Dom held this position until May 2003 when they joined Schlumberger.
Throughout their career, Dom has gained a wealth of experience in developing and managing technology projects across a broad range of industries. Dom has also built up an extensive network of relationships with companies and organizations in different fields. This experience and expertise has allowed Dom to excel in their current role as Managing Director at Humanetics.
Dom Brady has a PhD in Fibre optics and materials science from the Optoelectronics Research Centre at Southampton University. Dom also has a first class Masters in Engineering and Materials Science from Oxford University. Dom is certified by the Institute of Physics as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
