Oriol Capó del Nido

Oriol Capó del Nido has worked as a Software Developer at humanITcare since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CAPSiDE | NTT as a Software Developer from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they developed server-side web applications and portals using Django, Python, and Docker. Oriol also implemented design patterns such as TDD and DDD, and deployed code to AWS with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, they worked on the front-end using Jade, SASS, and focused on improving UI/UX design. Oriol also worked with new technologies like Apache Kafka and Apache Airflow.

Before their time at CAPSiDE | NTT, they worked at Raona from 2017 to 2019. Their roles at Raona included being a Data Scientist with a focus on NLP and Machine Learning from 2018 to 2019. Oriol also worked as a SharePoint Online Developer from 2017 to 2018, developing web applications using SharePoint Online (SPFx) with Typescript, React, and Javascript. Oriol also worked with Azure resources and utilized .NET in the back-end stack.

Oriol Capó del Nido attended Facultad Informatica de Barcelona from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a degree in Grado en Ingeniería Informática especializado en Computación, with a field of study in Ingeniería informática. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Getting and Cleaning Data, Exploratory Data Analysis, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera in November and December 2018.
