Mathieu Benoit has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Mathieu currently works at Humanitec as a Senior Customer Success Engineer, where they assist developers and platform engineers in adopting Humanitec and improving their platform engineering practices. Mathieu also serves as a customers advocate and collaborates with various stakeholders including product managers, tech writers, software engineers, and customer engineers.
Prior to this, Mathieu worked at Google in two roles. Firstly, as a Senior Developer Platform Engineer for GKE/Anthos, they helped developers and customers build secure platforms on top of Kubernetes with best practices such as GitOps, policies, Service Mesh, and DevSecOps. Mathieu created technical content, conducted workshops, and improved user experience and adoption of Anthos Service Mesh and Anthos Config Management services. Secondly, as a Cloud Customer Engineer for Apps Modernization, they assisted customers in utilizing Google Cloud, GKE, and Anthos. Mathieu worked closely with CIOs, CTOs, technical directors, software engineers, platform engineers, and security professionals, while also contributing to building and delivering content.
Before joining Google, Mathieu held a position at Microsoft as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect for Apps Modernization. Mathieu played a crucial role in helping partners accelerate their adoption of Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Mathieu delivered architecture design and technical review sessions, conducted trainings and hackathons, and gained recognition as a trusted technical advisor.
Mathieu's work experience also includes roles at Nurun as a Cloud Solution Architect, where they worked on projects for Canadian and US customers designing, implementing, and optimizing web and cloud solutions. Mathieu also delivered talks and trainings during their time at Nurun.
Additionally, they worked at EBP Informatique as a .NET Software Architect for nearly five years, and at Motorola as a .NET Developer, where they automated conformance tests for mobile devices.
Lastly, Mathieu began their career at IRIT as a C++ Developer.

Mathieu Benoit completed their Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering at Toulouse University in France from 2003 to 2008.
