Vladimir Chumakov

Vladimir Chumakov is a seasoned design engineer with extensive experience spanning several decades in mechanical engineering and product design. Currently serving as Design Engineer IV-Principal at Humanscale Design Studio since January 2012, Vladimir manages the development of multiple products while collaborating with Product Managers to set project requirements. Previous roles include Product Design Engineer at TEKNION, where a new height-adjustable office table product line was developed, and Mechanical Design Engineer at STREIT Manufacturing Inc. with responsibilities in product design and engineering drawings. Additional experience includes significant positions at Tula Precision Machinery Manufacturing, where automation and military device projects were undertaken, along with early roles in machine operations and management. Vladimir holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Tula State University and a certificate in Advanced Computer Aided FEA from Moscow.
