Humantold
Macaul Hodge is a dedicated mental health counselor currently serving at Humantold since September 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a research assistant at Play and Language Lab, where analysis of infant video content focused on play behaviors and environmental interactions. Macaul was a lead teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools, emphasizing communication, lesson planning, and classroom management. Additional volunteer work includes tutoring through Teach for Los Angeles and engaging children with disabilities at Kicks for Kids. A background in writing is evident from work as a news and lifestyle writer for The Daily Trojan, while tutoring experience at Lindamood-Bell and Jumpstart further highlights expertise in educational settings. Macaul holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, along with ongoing education at Boston University and CIEE Prague.
