Shengzi Sun

Shengzi Sun is a skilled therapist currently working at Humantold since September 2019, responsible for conducting intake interviews, individual and couples counseling sessions, and writing various client reports while participating in supervisions and professional development activities. Prior experience includes roles as a student assistant at Teachers College, Columbia University, and as a research assistant at the Working Memory Plasticity Lab at UC Irvine, where significant contributions were made to cross-cultural research and quantitative studies. Additionally, Shengzi served as a peer educator at the Counseling Center at UC Irvine, promoting mental wellness and conducting outreach programs, and conducted qualitative research with English Language Learners as part of the Multidisciplinary Design Program at UC Irvine. Educational achievements include a Master of Education and Master of Arts in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior & Film and Media Studies from UC Irvine, and a high school education at AFS Intercultural Programs USA focusing on Art Studies.
