Alberto Collu

Alberto Collu is a Senior Algorithms Engineer at Humatics since June 2022, with a rich background in scientific research and engineering. Prior to this role, Alberto served as a Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Berkeley Lab from July 2015 to July 2021. Alberto contributed as an SBIR Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Energy from January 2018 to December 2020, evaluating proposals for Small Business Innovation Research projects. Additionally, Alberto reviewed scientific articles for the IEEE Sensors Journal from May 2017 to June 2020. Previously, Alberto held research fellow positions at Università degli Studi di Cagliari and completed a Graduate Student Internship at CERN. Alberto holds a PhD and Master's degree in Applied Physics and Physics, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics, all from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
