Krutika Joshi, PhD, is currently a Research Associate in Data Science & Statistics at Humber River Health since July 2023, where skills include data visualization, predictive machine learning modeling, and managing the research process from ideation to dissemination. Previously, Krutika worked as an Independent Researcher from January 2022 to July 2023, relocating to Toronto while awaiting Permanent Residence approval. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Harvard Medical School (July 2018 - December 2021), focusing on cholinergic innervation in sleep apnea, and a PhD candidate in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto (September 2012 - June 2018), studying infantile spasms in a mouse model of Down syndrome. Earlier research experience includes roles as an undergraduate student researcher at The Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto, exploring various aspects of neuroscience and pathology. Krutika holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a Psychology minor from the University of Toronto.
